Game: Tongue Twister!! 2

Hard Tongue Twister Poems:

1.
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
how many pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?

2.
Purple, paper, people,
Purple, people, paper,
People, purple, paper,
Paper, purple, people,

3.

I'm not the pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's mate,
And I'm only plucking pheasants 'cause the pheasant plucker's late.
I'm not the pheasant plucker, I'm the pheasant plucker's son,
And I'm only plucking pheasants till the pheasant pluckers come.

4.
A tutor who tooted the flute,
Tried to tutor two tooters to toot,
Said the two to the tutor,
"Is it tougher to toot,
Or to tutor two tooters to toot?"

5.
Heather was hoping to hop to Tahiti,
To hack a hibiscus to hang on her hat,
Now Heather has hundreds of hats on her hat rack,
So how can a hop to Tahiti help that?

6.
Silly Sally swiftly shooed seven silly sheep.
The seven silly sheep Silly Sally shooed
Shilly-shallied south.
These sheep shouldn't sleep in a shack;
Sheep should sleep in a shed.

7.
Three sweet switched Swiss witches,
Watch three washed Swiss witch Swatch watch switches.
Which sweet switched Swiss witch watches,
Which washed Swiss witch Swatch watch switch?

8.
Theophilus Thadeus Thistledown,
The successful thistle-sifter,
While sifting a sieve-full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb.

9.
Now, if Theophilus Thadeus Thistledown,
The successful thistle-sifter,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb,
See that thou, while sifting a sieve-full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust not three thousand thistles through the thick of thy thumb.

9.
Theophilus Thistle, the successful thistle sifter,
In sifting a sieve full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb.
If Theophilus Thistle, the successful thistle sifter,
Can thrust three thousand thistles through the thick of his thumb,
See thou, in sifting a sieve full of unsifted thistles,
Thrust not three thousand thistles through the thick of thy thumb.

10.
David Dave is dutch
David Dave likes Ducks
David has dozens of dutch ducks
David Dave has so much
The Dutch Ducks were dutch ducklings,
but then the Dutch Ducklings grew up
Now, the delightful dutch ducklings are dashing dutch ducks

Lirik Lagu: Shower

Becky G- "Shower"

I don't know, it's just something about ya
Got me feeling like I can't be without ya
Anytime someone mention your name
I be feeling as if I'm around ya
Ain't no words to describe you baby
All I know is that you take me high
Can you tell that you drive me crazy?
Cause I can't get you out my mind

Think of you when I'm going to bed
When I wake up think of you again
You are my homie, lover and friend
Exactly why

You light me up inside
Like the 4th of July
Whenever you're around
I always seem to smile
And people ask me how
Well you're the reason why
I'm dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower

La La Di, La La Da, La La Da
Singing in the shower
La La Di, La La Da, La La Da
Singing in the shower

All I want, all I need is your loving
Baby you make me hot like an oven
Since you came you know what I've discovered
Baby I don't need me another
No, no all I know (know)
Only you got me feeling so (so)
And you know that I got to have you
And I don't plan to let you go

Think of you when I'm going to bed
When I wake up think of you again
You are my homie, lover and friend
Exactly why

You light me up inside
Like the 4th of July
Whenever you're around
I always seem to smile
And people ask me how
Well you're the reason why
I'm dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower

La La Di, La La Da, La La Da
Singing in the shower
La La Di, La La Da, La La Da
Singing in the shower

There ain't no guarantee
But I'll take a chance on we
Baby let's take our time
(Singing in the shower)
And when the times get rough
There ain't no giving up
Cause it just feels so right
(Singing in the shower)

Don't care what others say
If I got you I'm straight
You bring my heart to life yeah

You light me up inside
Like the 4th of July
Whenever you're around
I always seem to smile
And people ask me how
Well you're the reason why
I'm dancing in the mirror and singing in the shower

La La Di, La La Da, La La Da (hey)
Singing in the shower
La La Di, La La Da, La La Da
You got me singing in the shower
La La Di, La La Da, La La Da
Singing in the shower
La La Di, La La Da, La La Da

Game: Tongue Twister!!

A tongue-twister is a phrase that is designed to be difficult to articulate properly, and can be used as a type of spoken (or sung) word game. Some tongue-twisters produce results which are humorous (or humorously vulgar) when they are mispronounced, while others simply rely on the confusion and mistakes of the speaker for their amusement value.

Tongue-twisters may rely on rapid alternation between similar but distinct phonemes (e.g., s [s] and sh [ʃ]), unfamiliar constructs in loanwords, or other features of a spoken language in order to be difficult to articulate. For example, The seething sea ceaseth and thus the seething sea sufficeth us. The following sentence was claimed as "the most difficult of common English-language tongue-twisters" by William Poundstone.

Hard Tongue Twister Phrases
  •     A big bug bit a bold bald bear on the bum and the bold bald bear bled blood badly.
  •     I wish the wish you wish to wish, but if you wish the witch's wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.
  •     Bill Badger brought the bear a bit of boiled bacon in a brown bag.

   Another example:
  •     Brisk brave brigadiers brandished broad bright blades, blunderbusses, and bludgeons.
  •     Can you can a canned can into an uncanned can like a canner can can a canned can into an uncanned can?
  •     Do scientists see thieves seize skies? If scientists see thieves seize skies, then where are the skies, the scientists see the thieves seize?
  •     Which wristwatches are Swiss wristwatches?
  •     I am a mother pheasant plucker. I pluck mother pheasants. I am the most pleasant mother pheasant plucker who ever plucked mother pheasants.
  •     I'm not the sheet slitter, I'm the sheet slitter's son. But I'll slit sheets till the sheet slitter comes.
  •     If you must cross a coarse cross cow across a crowded cow crossing, cross the cross coarse cow across the crowded cow crossing carefully.
  •     Six swift Swiss ships swiftly shift.
  •     Imagine an imaginary menagerie manager managing an imaginary menagerie.
  •     There are two minutes difference from four to two to two to two, from two to two to two,
  •     too.
  •     Does the rapid rabid rabbit wrap it?
  •     The sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick.

Another example:
  •     Red Leather, Yellow Leather (3x Fast)
  •     Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers (3x Fast)
  •     Three Smart Fellows, they all felt smart (3x Fast)
  •     Sunshine City (3x Fast)

Is it too easy for you? All right, what about this time. This is the World's Hardest Tongue Twister, according to Guinness World Records.
  •     Unique New York Unique New York You know you need Unique New York.
  •     Give Papa a proper cup of coffee in a proper copper coffee cup.
  •     How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
  •     I shot the city sheriff with the city sheriff's gun. (3 times fast)
  •     Two tall boys, Take two ties, To tie two poles, To two tall trees.
  •     Give Gulliver Gales Gulliver's grey guppies, named Gabriel and Gabriela Gales. Go tell Gulliver "be gentle on Gabriel's and Gabriela's gill's and scales."
  •     Mumbling bumbling band of Baboons (3x fast)
  •     Seventeen slimy slugs in shiny sombreros sat singing short sad songs.

Many tongue-twisters use a combination of alliteration and rhyme. They have two or more sequences of sounds that require repositioning the tongue between syllables, then the same sounds are repeated in a different sequence. An example of this:

1.
Betty Botter bought a bit of butter.
The butter Betty Botter bought was a bit bitter
    And made her batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter makes better batter.
So Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter
Making Betty Botter's bitter batter better
2.
She sells sea-shells on the sea-shore.
The shells she sells are sea-shells, I'm sure.
For if she sells sea-shells on the sea-shore
Then I'm sure she sells sea-shore shells.

Some tongue-twisters take the form of words or short phrases which become tongue-twisters when repeated rapidly (the game is often expressed in the form "Say this phrase three (or five, or ten, etc.) times as fast as you can!"). Some examples include:

    A Proper Copper Coffee Pot.
The sixth sitting sheet slitter slit six sheets.
    Irish Wristwatch, Swiss Wristwatch.
Pad kid poured curd pulled cold.
    Peggy Babcock.

Although tongue-twisters uses alliteration to make them difficult to speak, there are other uses of alliteration that do not result in tongue-twisters. For example:

There's a train at 4:04 said Miss Jenny.
    Four tickets I'll take.
    Have you any?
Said the man at the door.
    "Not four for 4:04,
For four for 4:04 is too many."

Lirik Lagu: Butterflies

"Butterflies" by Alex G

Can you feel it?
In the air like you can breathe it?
Watch it break through the ceiling
And you know it ain't coming down
And I made it, like a song you keep repeating
Now my heart is overheated
And I'm tired of it burning down

Talking back and forth
"Hopping" back and forth baby
Trying to let it go
Trying to make it look easy
Now I can't hold back

The butterflies
You brought them back to life
Now I'm alive inside
You brought them back to life
Tonight the world is on our side
I feel the spark ignite
You brought me back to life
Back to life

I was waiting
On the edge of something wicked
Never thought I'd find a reason
To lower my guard and try
Now I see it
In your eyes, something deeper
And you wore me like a fever
And I'm ready to walk the line

Talking back and forth
"Hopping" back and forth baby
Trying to let it go
Trying to make it look easy
Now I can't hold back

The butterflies
You brought them back to life
Now I'm alive inside
You brought them back to life
Tonight the world is on our side
I feel the spark ignite
You brought me back to life
Back to life

I think I'm falling for you now
But I'm afraid to let it out
I used to hold it in but you're so worth the risk yeah

Talking back and forth
"Hopping" back and forth baby
Trying to let it go
Trying to make it look easy
Now I can't hold back

The butterflies
You brought them back to life
Now I'm alive inside
You brought them back to life
Tonight the world is on our side
I feel the spark ignite
You brought me back to life
Back to life

Lirik Lagu: Fifteen

Taylor Swift

Fifteen

You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors
It's the morning of your very first day
You say "Hi" to your friends you ain't seen in a while
Try and stay out of everybody's way
It's your freshman year and you're gonna be here
For the next four years in this town
Hoping one of those senior boys will wink at you and say
"You know I haven't seen you around, before"

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
And when you're fifteen
Feeling like there nothing to figure out
Well count to ten, take it in
This is life before you know who you're gonna be
Fifteen

You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail
And soon enough you're best friends
Laughing at the other girls who think they're so cool
We'll be out of here as soon as we can
And then you're on your very first date and hes got a car
And you're feeling like flying
And you're mommas waiting up and you think hes the one
And you're dancing round your room when the night ends
When the night ends

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
When you're fifteen and your first kiss
Makes your head spin round but
In your life you'll do things greater than dating the boy of the football team
But I didn't know it at fifteen

When all you wanted was to be wanted
Wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now
Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday
But I realized some bigger dreams of mine

And Abigail gave everything she had to a boy
Who changed his mind and we both cried

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
And when you're fifteen, don't forget to look before you fall
I've found that time can heal most anything
And you just might find who you're supposed to be
I didn't know who I was supposed to be at fifteen

La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la

Your very first day
Take a deep breath girl
Take a deep breath as you walk through those doors.

Pee Mak

The story is set in mid-19th century in Siam, during the King Mongkut Era and at the height of the Rattanakosin Dynasty, when Siam was plagued with wars with its neighbouring kingdoms.

Mak (Mario Maurer) was drafted to serve in a war against the foreign invasion, forcing him to leave behind his pregnant wife Nak (Davika Hoorne) at the town of Phra Khanong, not far from Central Bangkok. He was wounded during a battle and sent to a medical camp, where he met Ter, Puak, Shin and Aey, who later became his best friends.

Meanwhile, in Phra Khanong, Nak struggled alone painfully to give birth to the baby. Shortly after, villagers in the neighborhood heard her singing lullabies to her baby, causing hair-raising chills and making them cower in fear. Rumours started circulating around the village that Nak had already died in labor and was now a ghost haunting the house.

After the war, Mak, accompanied by his four friends, returned to his home in Phra Khanong. Mak happily reunites with Nak and their son; he then invited his friends to stay in his aunt's house nearby. The next day, the five went to the local market to find jobs and buy food, but the vendors fled from Mak due to the rumor about his wife.

At a liquor store, the owner tried to tell Mak about the rumor, only to be stopped by her nephew. One night, Shin (Wiwat Kongrasri), while trying to fetch Mak to join them drinking liquor, lost his nerve at the sight of Nak, the cradle swinging by itself, and what he believed to be her arm stretching to pick up a lime she dropped off the porch; however, his friend did not take his words seriously. None of them notice the liquor store's owner drowned body floating nearby.

The next day, Ter (Nuttapong Chartpong), saw a corpse wearing a distinctive looking wedding ring in the backyard, and the same one on Nak's finger. The remaining two friends started to believe Shin and Ter, but none of them actually tried bending over and looking at Nak between their legs to confirm that she is a ghost (which is an advice shared by Shin). What ensued is their desperate and comical attempts to get the message to Mak without alerting Nak, and Nak's "dinner" made of dry leaves and live worms that Mak enthusiastically encouraged their friends to try.

After the four flat out said Nak is dead, Mak became angry with them for letting the rumor get the better of them, and told them to leave. Unwilling to leave their friend behind, the four conspired to "free" Mak from his wife.

Mak and Nak, who wore a mask to avoid alerting the villagers, go the village carnival. On the ferris-wheel, Nak asked her husband if he was afraid of ghosts, and Mak assures her that he was more afraid of living without her. The couple then entered the haunted house; there, Mak's friends abducted him, but unable to open the locked door to carry him out. They briefly managed to conceal themselves from Nak by disguising themselves as the haunted house's fake ghosts, then busted the wall and ran into the woods when she saw them.

Seeing Mak's suddenly bleeding chest wound, his distinctive wedding ring, and how he screamed when hit by a handful of holy rice, the four friends were convinced that he was a ghost and scrambled back to the house to rescue Nak. Putting her and the baby on back of boat, the four desperately rowed, only to find Mak at the river bank. He tried to get to the boat and nearly drowned, convincing the four that he is alive, as ghosts don't drown.

Mak explained to his friends that his reaction when thrown at by holy rice was because some grains lodged in his wound, which wasn't completely healed and was busted open by all the commotion. With six people on board, the boat started sinking, prompting everyone to throw their luggage away, even the paddles. Ter, who sat frontmost on the boat, wondered out loud who the ghost might be, and Aey, who sat behind him, dropped a ring that looked exactly like the one on the corpse, and was kicked off-board by the panicking Ter.

After ineffectively rowing with their hands, Ter was handed the dropped paddle by Nak, and looked back at the other paddle, which had floated so far away it was impossible for a human arm to reach. He then stood straight up, bent over and looked between his legs and finally confirmed that Nak is, indeed, a ghost.

Mak and his three remaining friends, Shin, Puak and Ter, went to a Buddhist temple seeking chants and prayers to keep Nak at bay. However, in a panic, coupled with Mak's struggle to get back to his wife, they spilled all the holy water, holy rice and kicked the praying monk out of the "safety ring". The monk fled the temple, leaving the four to face the angry Nak. A pale Aey found his way to the temple and it was revealed that he was still a human.

Ter, Mak and Shin push him forward then Puak and Aey kiss. Ter thought Aey is a ghost because he is have a ring (and stole the ring off the corpse to pay off his gambling debt). Nak angrily shouted at the five that she just wanted to be with her loved one, which the four friends argued against since they didn't believe the living can be with the dead.

Mak then revealed he knew the truth about Nak all along, after listening to his friends, looking at Nak between his legs and finding her half buried corpse. He then claimed that he is more afraid of living without her than of her ghostly form. His friends, seeing them reuniting, cried and hugged each other, vowing that they wouldn't leave each other even if one of them became a ghost.

In the credit scenes, Mak, his wife and his four friends lived happily in the village. Nak uses her ghostly abilities to do chores, play charades, help fixing the temple, and scare off the villagers attempting to drive her away. It is also revealed that her child also possess some of her abilities.
